Terms of Service
Last updated: April 8, 2026
1. Service description
Logystera (“the Service”) is a log-based monitoring and alerting platform. It ingests structured log events from your WordPress, Drupal, or HashiCorp Vault systems, derives metrics, evaluates rules, and delivers alerts.
2. Account terms
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Use the Service to monitor systems you do not own or have authorization to monitor.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service to collect personal data of your site’s users beyond what is necessary for monitoring purposes.
- Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission.
4. Data ownership
You retain ownership of all log event data you send to Logystera. We process this data solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your data and do not use it for purposes other than operating the Service.
5. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will provide reasonable notice for planned maintenance.
For paid plans with SLA add-ons, specific uptime commitments are defined in the SLA agreement.
6. Payment terms
- Free plans are provided at no cost with no time limit.
- Paid plans are billed monthly. Payment is due at the beginning of each billing period.
- Prices may change with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions are honored at their current rate for the remainder of the billing period.
- Early adopter pricing is locked in for the lifetime of an active subscription.
7. Cancellation and refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Data is retained for the duration of your retention period after cancellation, then permanently deleted.
- Refunds are provided at our discretion for billing errors or service issues.
8. Plugin and module terms
The Logystera WordPress plugin and Drupal module are provided as part of the Service. They are licensed for use with an active Logystera account only. You may install the plugin/module on any system you own or manage.
9. Limitation of liability
Logystera is a monitoring and alerting service. We do not guarantee the detection of all failures, security incidents, or system issues. The Service provides visibility based on the log events it receives. It does not replace security audits, penetration testing, or comprehensive disaster recovery planning.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding any claim.
10. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
